How It Works

Our Perth Security Installation Process

We've installed security systems for thousands of Perth homes and businesses since opening, and the process below is what makes it painless - no surprise costs, no disruptive cabling, no confusing handover.

1. Free Phone Consultation

We start with a quick call to understand your property, the security concerns you want addressed, and roughly what budget you're working with. No pressure - we'll tell you upfront if we're not the right fit.

2. Free On-Site Inspection & Fixed Quote

A licensed installer attends your property anywhere in the Perth metro area, walks the site with you, plans camera placement and cabling paths, then sends through a fixed written quote - no call-out fee, no obligation.

3. Professional Installation

Most residential installs are completed in a single day. We use cable concealment that respects your home, brand-name hardware (ReoLink, Dahua, Hikvision, Bosch) and tested cabling - never the cheap stuff that fails in 18 months.

4. Commissioning & App Setup

Before we leave, we configure remote viewing on your phone (iOS/Android), set up motion zones and alerts, run through how the system works, and hand over documentation. You leave knowing exactly how to use everything.

5. Aftercare & Warranty

Every install carries a lifetime workmanship warranty and 3-year manufacturer warranty on supplied hardware. If anything misbehaves, we come back - no haggling.

What To Expect On Install Day

Most residential Perth installs run from around 8am to mid-afternoon. Two licensed technicians arrive with all cabling, brackets, hardware and consumables - you don't need to buy anything separately. We lay drop-sheets, cover work zones and clean up at the end of the day.

Cabling is threaded through roof voids, subfloors and existing service conduits so walls and ceilings aren't cut wherever possible. Where a discreet penetration is needed, we agree the location with you first and use colour-matched patching. The NVR is placed in a location you nominate - usually a cupboard, study or comms room - and connected to your existing router with a shielded network cable.

Before we leave, we walk through the mobile app on your phone (iOS or Android), demonstrate live view, playback, motion-zone setup and push alerts, then hand over a written summary of admin credentials, camera locations and warranty details. You get a handover pack you can hand to a partner, family member or property manager.

What Makes A Good Install

Camera placement, not camera count

Six well-placed cameras out-cover ten poorly-placed ones. We prioritise blind spots - side gates, alfresco sliders, garage entries - over ticking a headline number.

Hidden, tested cabling

Every PoE run is tested for continuity and voltage drop before we leave. Cables are UV-resistant where they see sun and rated for outdoor exposure.

Local storage, not cloud only

Local NVR storage means no monthly subscription and no reliance on your internet being up. Cloud backup is optional on top.

Realistic warranty

3-year manufacturer warranty and lifetime workmanship. If it fails inside warranty we return and fix it - no service-call fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole process take from first call to install?

Most jobs run from first call to completed install in 1-2 weeks. Urgent jobs (recent break-in, settlement day) we can often turn around in 48-72 hours.

Do I need to be home for the on-site quote?

Yes - the on-site inspection is where we walk the property, discuss camera placement and answer questions. Allow 30-45 minutes.

Will the install damage my walls or ceilings?

In most cases no - we route cables through roof voids and subfloors. Any small penetration is agreed with you first and colour-matched.

What happens if the system has an issue after install?

You call or text us. Under warranty we come back and fix it at no cost. Most issues we can also diagnose remotely.

Can I add more cameras later?

Yes - every NVR we install has spare channels, and we run extra cable where practical during the initial install to make future additions easier.
